Sharp 703Sharp have quite a reputation for building good quality, advanced handsets, and the Sharp 703 is one of them. It's fun 3G phone that manages to include all the essentials while keeping the size and weight down as much as possible. It's a slightly quirky looking handset - mainly because it has been designed for the Japanese market, so it manages to look just a little bit different from ordinary clamshell phones. It's quite feature packed too. The large 240x320 pixel display is one of the best on any phone on the market, and the Sharp 703 also comes with a high quality 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and expandable memory (using mini SD) cards. There's a multimedia player too, plus a web browser and email client. 3G support means that the Sharp 703 can download files and multimedia from the internet very quickly. It can do video calling too, so you can see someone else using a compatible 3G phone as you talk to them. So it's pretty feature packed.. so surely it weighs a ton? Nope, the Sharp 703 actually only weighs 107 grams which is very light for a 3G phone and about the same as many other much less advanced handsets. Another nice thing is that the Sharp 703 is comes
all set up with access to the Vodafone Live! 3G service,
which means a lot less fiddling about to get it working.
